Iowa State’s Department of Mathematics is offering a number of summer math courses as a great way to get a jump start on math pre-requisites or get more personalized attention on a math course.

Summer classes held on campus have smaller class sizes than the same courses during the fall or spring semesters, making them a great option for learning math in a more personalized setting. Some courses are also offered online, offering the flexibility to complete classes while working around summer schedules, whether in Ames or not.

Taking a math class in the summer provides a great chance to give extra focus to a particular math subject. Daily meetings help the material stay fresh. Summer also provides a less stressful time with fewer classes, allowing more focus and attention on the material.

Section details are available in the Iowa State Schedule of Classes.
