Congratulations to our undergraduate student Henry Simmons for being accepted to the Spring 2022 Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) Program – a study-abroad program for North American undergraduate students in Budapest, Hungary.
Henry grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. He is currently a Junior at Iowa State, majoring in mathematics with a minor in computer science. He is also the president of the Billiards Club at ISU and participates in the Math Club and the Mountaineering and Climbing Club. For the last three semesters, he has been tutoring calculus and differential equations courses.
In Spring and Summer 2021, Henry participated in an ISMaRT research group led by Dr. Abdul Basit and Dr. Shira Zerbib.
Henry will be graduating from Iowa State in Spring 2023, and he plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Mathematics.
