Title : The tree pigeonhole principle in the Weihrauch degrees
Abstract: In 2009, Chubb, Hirst, and McNicholl generalized Ramsey’s theorem to the full binary tree and initiated its study in reverse mathematics. The simplest version of their generalization is the tree pigeonhole principle that any finite coloring of the full binary tree contains a monochromatic subtree isomorphic (as a partial order) to the full tree. In this talk, I will consider the tree pigeonhole principle from the point of view of Weihrauch analysis and present several results from joint work with Damir Dzhafarov and Manlio Valenti.
