Heather Bolles receives Miller Grant

Heather Bolles works with a group of students.

Heather Bolles, senior lecturer in mathematics, received a Miller Grant for her research on team-based calculus courses. The research develops recommendations for improving student experiences and outcomes in team-based learning calculus courses and other courses that use a cooperative approach to instruction.

The Miller Grant is co-sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, the University Library, and the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost to encourage instructor innovation in assigning new, less expensive materials to students by using Open Educational Resources.
