The math department celebrated Tuesday with the annual tradition of Trig-or-Treat in the undergraduate student lounge. Students celebrated trigonometry and candy (under the mathematical use of "or" meaning it’s OK to do both).

Currently a professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Illinois, he has been honored for his excellence in teaching and service.
